New Star offers institutional investors exposure to UK commercial property through an authorised property unit trust. This fund, which offers an income yield, the potential for capital growth and diversification away from equities and bonds, contains both direct property investments, which are managed by Roger Dossett, and a portfolio of quoted property stocks managed by Stephen Whittaker.

 

At the end of May 2007, property assets under management were approximately £2.7 billion.
