Global equity

Global, international, regional and emerging markets equity portfolios are managed by a team of people who have worked together for many years.

 

The team has a 'bottom-up' stock selection approach, applying a consistent approach to fundamental stock analysis throughout the world. This means regional and global comparisons can be easily made. The team aims to add further value by anticipating global sector themes and by applying our proprietary monetary liquidity analysis.

 

All managers are based in London, providing fast and effective decision-making. There is a strong emphasis on fundamental research, which is primarily undertaken inhouse and is available to all fund managers. Stringent risk controls are employed to standardise performance across the team's portfolios.

 

Global and overseas equity assets under management were approximately £10.6 billion at the end of May 2007.
