Fixed interest

Within fixed interest, New Star has two offerings.

 

We run traditional 'benchmark-related' bond portfolios tailored to clients' particular needs. In addition, our fixed income team manages more absolute return-style portfolios by investing across government, investment grade and sub-investment grade bond markets. These portfolios are designed to appeal to institutional clients that need their assets to work harder to generate higher returns than conventional bond mandates.

 

Fixed interest assets under management were approximately £2.6 billion at the end of May 2007.
