Selling holdings

Please ensure you quote your account number when contacting us. You may sell your holdings by instructing us in writing or by telephoning us. We do not accept instructions via email in the interest of security and data protection.

When do you get your money?

After we have received your valid instruction and all necessary documentation (where applicable) we will release your proceeds normally within 5 working days. We will send a cheque to your registered address or, if requested, transfer (at a bank charge) to your UK bank account that we have verified. Please note that your proceeds will only be released if we have fully verified your identity in line with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations.

New Star Investment Funds Limited will not usually accept a third party payment into your account or make a redemption payment to a third party. Typically, we would only accept or make third party payments from or to other regulated entities or upon the instruction of an executor of an investor's estate. Where we do accept or make a third party payment, we are obliged to verify the identity of the third party and understand the circumstances surrounding the payment.

Regular savers

Regular savers may stop or amend their monthly investment by giving seven days' notice in writing to New Star Investment Funds, PO Box 9023, Chelmsford CM99 2WB. For amending bank details, please complete a direct debit mandate.
