In January, the New Star fund of funds team won the 'Best Multi-Manager Group' award at the Professional Adviser Awards 2008. Recognised as leaders in the field of multi-manager investment, the team also won three awards at the 2007 Professional Adviser Multi-Manager Awards: Best Multi-Manager Group, Best International Multi-Manager Fund (New Star Tactical Portfolio) and Best Specialist Multi-Manager Fund (New Star American Portfolio).
