Each month Citywire, an independent financial publisher, analyses and rates individual UK fund managers for their risk-adjusted performance over the previous 36-month period. The best fund managers - fewer than 5% of all UK fund managers - achieve an AAA rating from Citywire.
Managers who achieve an A or AA rating are still well above average performers. Fewer than one in five fund managers are rated by Citywire. Other fund managers will get no rating at all, because their risk-adjusted performance is not good enough or because they have not been running funds long enough to qualify.
