New Star wins 'Best Multi-Manager Group' at the Professional Adviser Awards 2008

New Star is pleased to announce that it has been named 'Best Multi-Manager Group' at the 2008 Professional Adviser Awards. The award, voted for by independent financial advisers, is in recognition of the exceptional long-term track record of New Star's fund of funds team. New Star was also named 'Best Multi-Manager Group' at the 2007 Professional Adviser Awards and 'Best Multi-Manager Group' at the 2006 Real Adviser Awards.

 

These awards follow New Star's strong and consistent outperformance when compared to other funds of funds and single manager funds. New Star’s fund of funds range consists of eight funds – three regional portfolios and five global portfolios – each with a varying degree of risk. Of the seven New Star funds of funds with five-year track records, six are in the first quartile of their respective IMA sectors‡.
