New Star Appoints Simon Hillenbrand as Managing Director of UK Retail Sales

• Mark Little appointed regional sales director for London

New Star is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Hillenbrand as managing director of UK retail sales. Prior to this appointment, Simon was responsible for New Star's London-based discretionary clients as well as a number of key account relationships, a position he has held for more than five years. Prior to joining New Star, Simon was responsible for London and South East sales at Invesco Perpetual having previously been responsible for South West sales at Morgan Grenfell. Simon's extensive experience, both at New Star and elsewhere within the industry, made this a natural appointment.

New Star is also pleased to announce that Mark Little has been appointed regional sales director for London. Mark has 11 years' experience in the industry having formerly held the role of director of investment services at New Star. Mark will be supported by Will Hamilton, who has been at New Star for nearly two years in a broker support role.
