New Star appoints Robert Jeffree to manage the ...
New Star Investment Funds is pleased to announce that Robert Jeffree will take over management of the New Star Asia Portfolio from Mark Harris, New Star's head of funds of funds. Robert, who has been an integral part of New Star's fund of funds team since August 2006, will commence his role with immediate effect.
Robert's appointment is in recognition of his proven expertise in the field of Asian fund of funds management. Robert will continue to work closely with Mark Harris and this will ensure a seamless transition for investors in the New Star Asia Portfolio.
Robert's appointment will allow Mark to focus more closely on the management of the New Star Tactical, Active, Balanced, Managed, and American Portfolios.
Mark Harris, head of funds of funds at New Star, says: "Robert has a natural talent for fund of funds management and I have every confidence he will continue the fund's strong performance. His meticulous attention to detail and his ability to pick out the best funds and fund managers has earned him the right to manage this fund."
