New Star Asset Management is an independent London-based active investment management firm, created by John Duffield (founder of Jupiter Asset Management), in 2000. The firm manages institutional assets and retail funds, investment trusts and hedge funds, covering a range of equity and bond mandates.

 

New Star Institutional Managers (formerly WorldInvest), manages global, regional and specialist UK portfolios for pension funds and other institutional investors, charities and corporate clients. WorldInvest was acquired by New Star Asset Management in December 2000.

 

New Star has offices based in London, Dublin, Madrid, Zurich, Hong Kong and Bermuda.
