- New Star's European Portfolio also won the 'Best Specialist Multi-Manager Fund Award' for the second year running.

- New Star Global Strategic Capital has been awarded 1st place in the UK Marketed Class Asset Allocation Global Flexible sector over ten years out of 24 funds
- New Star Sterling Bond has been awarded 1st place in the UK Marked Class Fixed Income GBP - Corporate sector over ten years out of 32 funds

Awards Nominations 2006 Investment Week Awards 2006Six New Star funds have been nominated for the Investment Week 2006 fund manager of the year awards. The six shortlisted funds are:
- UK Special Situations, managed by James Ridgewell
- UK Growth, managed by Stephen Whittaker
- Global Financials, managed by Guy de Blonay
- Extra High Yield Bond, managed by James Gledhill
- Global Strategic Capital and UK Strategic Income, both managed by Paul Craig.
