Bespoke OEICs
Families and groups of associated individuals can have their assets managed by our selected fund managers in tax-efficient authorised vehicles called open-ended investment companies (OEICs). On behalf of clients, New Star will set up bespoke OEICs that meet specific regulatory and investment requirements.
Investments within these OEICs can be actively managed without triggering capital gains tax liabilities. CGT only becomes potentially payable on gains realised when the OEIC shares are sold. Due to the set-up and running costs of such funds, the minimum initial investment is £5 million.
