New Star is pleased to announce that it has won the prestigious 'Best Multi-Manager Group Award' at this year's RealAdviser Multi-Manager Awards. New Star's European Portfolio also won the 'Best Specialist Multi-Manager Fund Award' for the second year running.
The awards recognise New Star's fund of funds range, managed by Mark Harris and Craig Heron, as the most consistent multi-manager fund range when considering performance over each of the three years to 30 June 2006. The awards include all UK multi-manager vehicles, including fettered funds, which were screened to ensure their eligibility for selection.
This comes hot on the heels of New Star being named the winner of the 2006 Citywire Team All Stars Award for consistent performance on a risk-adjusted basis across 15 key IMA sectors. New Star has now won this award three years running, a unique achievement.
